I am an ACP practicing in oncology/haematology. I have worked in an advanced practice role for 9 years, leading an ACP-led acute oncology service and providing same day emergency care and ambulatory care for cancer patients, working across two hospital sites. I also provide chemotherapy clinics for patients with breast and colorectal cancers alongside the consultants. I have recently secured a secondment 2 days per week with the Derbyshire Faculty of Advancing Practice as project lead for enhanced level practice.
