I am the Advanced Practice Lead for Medicine Division at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. The Division employees approximately 130 ACPs across Adult & Paediatric Emergency Care, Acute Medicine, HCOP, Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery. I work clinically as an ACCP in Cardiac Intensive Care, where I have worked since 2015. My background is General and Cardiac Critical Care nursing, in Nottingham, London and Newcastle. I’ve a keen interest in all four advanced practice pillar, as well as networking and shared learning within specialty and advanced practice forums, regionally, nationally and internationally. My wife Lorna and I have a son and daughter with whom we spend most of our time when not working. I enjoy playing football, reading, walking, travelling, socialising, skiing and surfing (the last two when able!)
